ROOTED PANEL DISCUSSION WITH ARTIST/CURATOR JUN YANG
Wednesday May 21 | 5:00-7:00pm
Onsite | Free
Join us for an intimate conversation with ROOTED curator and artist Jun Yang, joined by featured artists Kylie Choi, Nimisha Doongarwal, Susan Kitazawa, Michelle Lin, Midori, Renetta Sitoy, Amanda Yim, and Irene Wibawa. Moderated by Ruth’s Table, this gathering offers space for reflection and dialogue among artists whose practices span distinct cultural lineages, generations, and approaches to making. Together, they’ll share insights into how personal histories, diasporic narratives, and intergenerational memory shape the work presented in the exhibition.
Visitor Guidelines: Face masks are optional.
Access: Ruth’s Table gallery and adjacent green space are wheelchair accessible.

Donate: The program is free, donations are welcome.

Charles Boone
It was exciting to film a short interview with Bay Area Composer Charles Boone. Charles was a beloved teacher at the San Francisco Art Institute for many years. Other Minds released an EP of two of his archival works a few years ago.
